The island of Kauai in Kauai County * Until 515 PM HST * At 211 PM HST, radar showed that heavy rain has developed over central and north Kauai. A rain gage in Hanalei also reported a rain rate of about 2 inches per hour. This rain will produce elevated water levels in Hanalei River within the next hour. Stream levels in east and northeast Kauai will also increase. * Locations in the advisory include but are not limited to... Lihue, Kilauea, Anahola, Wailua, Hanalei, Na Pali State Park, Wainiha, North Fork Wailua Trails, Moloaa, Princeville, Haena and Kokee State Park. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
