The National Weather Service in Honolulu has extended the

* Flood advisory for...
  The island of Oahu in Honolulu County

* Until 1215 AM HST

* At 902 PM HST, radar indicated moderate to heavy rain developing 
  over the Koolau Range. Rain continues falling at a rate of 0.5 to 
  1.5 inches per hour in the advisory area, and stream levels will 
  remain elevated. Rainfall will persist across the advisory area 
  for the next several hours.

* Locations in the advisory include but are not limited to...
  Ahuimanu, Punaluu, Hauula, Waimanalo, Kailua, Maunawili, Kaneohe,
  Waikane, Kaneohe Marine Base, Waiahole, Kahaluu and Laie.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Stay away from streams, drainage ditches and low lying areas prone to
flooding.

Rainfall and runoff will also cause hazardous driving conditions due
to ponding, reduced visibility and poor braking action.

Do not cross fast flowing or rising water in your vehicle, or on
foot. Turn around, don't drown.

A flash flood watch is also in effect for Oahu through Saturday 
afternoon.
