...HIGH SURF ADVISORY THROUGH SATURDAY AFTERNOON FOR EAST FACING 
SHORES OF ALL ISLANDS...

.Life-threatening surf generated by Hurricane Lane will impact 
south facing shores of the smaller islands and the west facing 
shores of the Big Island through Saturday morning. Strengthening
winds will bring large disorganized breakers to east facing 
shores through Saturday. Observations from Honolulu Harbor show
water levels running about 0.5 ft above the predicted tide 
levels. Significant overwash along low-lying coastal areas and 
road ways will be possible, especially during the high tide this 
afternoon.

  large breaking waves affecting harbor entrances. Damage to
  coastal infrastructure, including roadways, docks, piers, 
  ramps, and boats. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Stay well away from the shoreline. Large breaking surf, and
dangerous currents make entering the water extremely hazardous.
Anyone entering the water could face death.
